We are pleased to welcome Walter Olson, senior fellow at the Cato Institute and longtime advocate for redistricting reform in Maryland, for a timely discussion about redistricting, gerrymandering, and how fair maps impact our democracy.
Walter has written extensively on election law for local and national audiences and served as co-chair of multiple commissions appointed by Governor Larry Hogan to advance nonpartisan redistricting. He also chairs the Frederick County Ethics Commission and is active in civic leadership across the state.
Join us for an evening of civic conversation, good food, and community connection as we explore how the drawing of electoral districts shapes representation—and what we can do to make the process fairer.
RSVP required. $5 suggested to help us plan.
